Well...

When we moved here from the city what we missed most was the fresh, handmade bagels that we would eat every weekend as a family. We couldn't find a place anywhere that sold authentic, delicious, fresh made bagels!!

Steve, of Jewish ancestry, graduated from New York Restaurant School as a chef and myself Rosemarie, an Italian-American who had previously owned a diner decided if we couldn't find it we would open our own place in our new hometown. 

 

In our journey looking for the perfect location to open our bagel store, we realized there was also a demand for a place that sold live bait! Crazy as it sounded - we planted the seed and from that grew the marriage of the two to form Blondie's Bagels and Bait. Once we found our location it became our "family business" and with the help of our kids we created Blondie's Bagels & Bait- a family owned and operated bagel store.

At Blondie's we pride ourselves in quality food and every item is made fresh every day.  We've spent months perfecting our bagels and we are thrilled that the reviews have been so incredible. Our store is an extension of our home. 

We offer dine-in seating and a lounge where you can make yourself at home with a classic board game on one of our hand-built tables. Our outdoor seating is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. 

In our (separate) bait store we carry fishing apparel and live bait including various sized shiners, crayfish and trout worms.  We also take special orders if we don't carry it so just ask!

 

Our retail area is where we sell Blondie's merchandise and gifts for the foodie in your life!
